The Librarians

Since the end of Summer Heights, ABC have cleverly replaced this cult hit with The Librarians, a comedy that revolves around love, betrayal and revenge within the confounds of a Library.

That's right, this series involves a plethora of strange characters set in a Suburban library. This six part series revolves around Frances O'Brien (Robyn Butler), a pedantic head librarian who not only happens to be a devout Catholic but keeps in her world in order by rules and laws.

Unfortunately for Frances, her ex-best friend comes on the scene and through happenstance, she is forced to hire her. From there, Frances' life goes from ordered to chaotic as she discovers that this children's librarian she hired is a drug dealer and to make matters worse, Book Week is about to begin at the library.

Featuring a great comedic cast that include Robyn Butler, Wayne Hope, Roz Hammond, Bob Franklin, Kim Gyngell, Kate Kendall, Heidi Arena, Stephen Ballantyne, Josh Lawson, Keith Brockett, Nicole Nabout, Grant Piro, Arthur Angel, Stephen Curry and Tahir Bilgic, this series is brilliant casted and contains some extremely entertaining episodes that we keep you smiling, amazed and shocked from the world go. Another ABC classic!
