The Good Life the Complete Series 4

Series 4 of the classic 1970s sitcom about an eccentric middle-class couple who decide to leave behind the empty promises of the rat race and live off their land--without leaving the suburbs. Tom and Barbara Good (Richard Briers and Felicity Kendal), much to the horror of their conservative neighbours, the Leadbetters (Paul Eddington and Penelope Keith), decide to turn their suburban home into a self-sufficient utopian garden, with hilarious results.

This collection features the final episodes of the popular series, including "Away From It All," "The Green Door," "The Weaver's Tale," and the special Royal Command performance, filmed in front of Her Majesty The Queen.

Episodes:
Away from It All
The Green Door
Our Speaker Today
The Weaver's Tale
Suit Yourself
Sweet and Sour Charity
The Anniversary

The Good Life is one of those amazing BBC comedy series that truly set the benchmark for comedy series of the time thanks to Felicity Kendal. The beauty of this series is the relationship between the two stars that range from explosive to simply embarrassing... a true comedy classic!

Special Features:
  • When I'm 65 - The 1978 Royal Command Performance
  • Interview with Richard Briers
  • Cast Biographies
