Remember Me

Remember Me tells the tale of two generations of an Italian family that are trying to find their places in the world. As the older and younger generation clash with their ideals and ways of looking at issues, we are faced with a family that is falling apart in it’s attempts to find love and success, often using sex as the vehicle to get there.

This is a story that is very well told with an ending that you may need to watch twice. There are a number of interweaving stories that we as the viewer are aware of, however the family are blissfully ignorant of until near the end when the drama of the father’s affair and other plotlines almost bring them undone.

The video and audio on the title are pretty good, although certainly nothing to get excited about. There is a lot more that could be done with some of the glitchiness of the transfer however it is entirely watchable. The extras are fairly comprehensive for this sort of film and the interview process a good way of finding out just that bit more about the film.

Worth a look, even if it’s initially a rental.
