Pulse 2 - Afterlife

The Pulse 2 is a unique horror movie that uses modern technology to portray its story and in actual fact, although quite clichéd and predictable at times is actually an entertaining journey for the viewer.

The plot revolves around spirits who invade the wireless devices such as mobile phones and WiFi and like a virus, they begin infecting people with their deadly ghost-like dread and once effected, the victims feel lost, cold and almost dead which eventually leads them to committing suicide.

The movie stars Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) and  is directed by Writer/Director Joel Soisson (Dracula 2000 and Hollowman 2) who manages to successfully pull off a few worthy frights here and there which is matched by the rather impressive special effects.

Definitely a movie for those who enjoyed the original or for "glam" horror.
