One Piece the Movie: Adventures of Alabasta (Uncut)

Pirates, anime, action and humour is what Once Piece the Movie is all about and is one of the longest running anime series of all time. This DVD is great for anyone who wishes to jump aboard this phenomena and follow this bump of misfit pirates as they are caught in the struggle of a civil war that is engineered by the one of the world's most nefarious Warlords.

As Monkey D. Luffy and his motley crew of misfits race to the island with Princess Viva to stop this war, the evil Warlord known as Crocodile awaits them. Fortunately for Monkey D. Luffy, he has a few tricks up his sleeve as he attempts to stop the way of the century. Consider the series like Super Heroes only in the "past" as pirates.

The animation is brilliant in the title and the battle scene, although quite lengthy is quite awe-inspiring and really helps immerse you into this title. Although the storyline of pirates and monsters is quite enjoyable, this movie contains almost every clichéd and anime stereotype which makes this so damn enjoyable.

It's classic stuff and features good video and sound that nicely rounds this title out.
