Not My Life
A
transparent attempt at a psychological thriller. This film wallows
in its mediocrity.
Although Amber has suffered from amnesia, she appears to have to
all: a beautiful house in a great neighborhood, supportive friends
and a doting husband. However when she begins pressing him about her
past, things don't add up; Unsatisfied with her husbands answers,
she hires a PI to investigate with dangerous consequences.
The red herrings this film throws offer the promise of so much more,
however when the answers are reviled, you are left wanting. The lack
of plot development, means in short, that climax doesn't offer the
satisfaction expected from the premise.
This is a poorly executed attempt at a thriller. As the plot twists
the resolution becomes more obvious; This is only worth the effort
if you are really bored.
