Mongul is the first movie in a three part trilogy which is set in 
			12th century Mongolia and begins with Temudjin, a young boy is who 
			taken by his father and leader of his clan to the Merkit tribe where 
			he plans to marry his son in order to strengthen both clans.
			
			
			As fate intervenes, Temudjin meets another girl on his journey named 
			Borte whom he falls in love with and plans to marry her, rather than 
			his intended bride. To compound the situation for Temudjin, his 
			father is murdered by Targutai who plans to govern the tribe.
			
			
			When Temudjin comes of age, he keeps his promise to marry Borte, 
			however once again fate intervenes as she is kidnapped by the 
			Merkits. With no support, he seeks the aid of his blood brother 
			Jamukha as they plan a daring attack in order to liberate Temudjin’s 
			future bride.
			
			
			Masterfully directed by Sergei Bodrov, this is truly an epic tale 
			that was actually filmed in Mongolia, the movie features some 
			brilliant acting by all involved. The story, cinematography truly 
			lends itself well to this epic that showcases how barbaric these 
			times may have been. Gripping from start to finish!
