Metalocalypse Season 1

Metalocalypse is another gem from Adult Swim that revolve around the world's greatest heavy metal band, "Dethklok" who are led by their lead singer, Nathan Explosion as they attempt to infiltrate popular culture by making everything "metal".

What really sets the series apart from other cartoon series are the boys of Dethklok who always cause strife or find themselves knee deep in trouble.

Whether it's summoning an ancient troll or lusting after a GMILF, it's all about entertainment in Metalocalypse which happens to take the "Mickey" out of popular culture.

Although the series is littered with dozens of 80's references, they have a go at Metallica and Guns n' Roses to name a few of the bands of this era.

The show also contains original music created by Brendon Small which goes hand-in-hand with the genre and match that with some killer animation from the studios of Adult Swim, this series is definitely aimed at the Heavy Metal lover in all of us.

A word of warning though, this series is not intended for the political correct and if your offended by vomit or gore, than you might want to look elsewhere. I loved it!
