Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man

My god... what have we here?

Leonard Cohen I'm Your Man is a music-documentary about a group of non commercial musicians that include Nick Cave, Rufus Wainwright and Beth Orton as they perform songs by this living legend.

Cohen is clearly a songwriter's songwriter and the resulting movie brims with an infectious passion for the man's melodies and sardonic wit, however the performances are interspersed with interview footage that does take away the message of this movie.

Where the movie shines is from the concert footage as we see these musicians really live up the music of Cohen, especially Nick Cave and Rufus Wainwright. Interesting, strange and strangely watchable!
