Laputa Castle in the Sky
The
amazing talents of Hayao Miyazaki truly take the viewer on an amazing
journey in Laputa Castle in the Sky that tells the tale of Pazu, an
engineer's apprentice who finds a mysterious young girl floating down
from the sky.
Together, the duo embark on a mystery to solve the legend behind Laputa,
the Castle in the Sky. Unfortunately for our intrepid heroes, sky
pirates, secret agents and other nefarious evils hamper their journey to
this mysterious city.
With
that said, the storyline out of Laputa is a true masterpiece that would
not look out of place in a traditional fairytale adventure.
The
video quality of Laputa Castle in the Sky is rather impressive and
features strong colours, wonderful animation that truly immerses you
into this tale of adventure, mystery and romance. As with the video
quality, the sound quality is also top notch and features a rather
impressive English dub for those non-traditionalists.
The
special features of this disc include a 16x9 widescreen presentation,
alternative angle storyboards, original Japanese trailers, history of
the Castle in the Sky and the textless opening and closing credits.
