Labyrinth Anniversary Edition

Labyrinth, another 80's fantasy classic returns on DVD, celebrating its anniversary which stars the delectable David Bowie and the talented and beautiful Jennifer Connelley. Produced and created by George Lucas and Jim Henson, Labyrinth revolves around Sarah (Jennifer Connelley) who believes her life cannot become anymore boring by her chores of babysitting her brother Toby on a Saturday night. Unbeknown to Sarah, her overactive imagination somehow forces her brother to be summoned away by Goblins from her favourite book, Labyrinth.

Sarah must now embark on a magical journey into the Labyrinth in order to rescue her brother Toby as she encounters a variety of strange and dangerous creatures, included is the wicked Goblin King played by David
Bowie. Beautifully created and written, Labyrinth is a classic fantasy tales that features the amazing creatures from the mind of Jim Henson.

From a film created in 1900, the high definition film transfer almost makes the movie appear as it was filmed yesterday with extremely sharp images. Add in Dolby Digital 5.1 and the surround sound of Labyrinth is truly shuddering at certain moments in the movie. A brilliant homage to the original movie, this is a must have DVD for families or for fans of the original film with its in-depth special features and high definition film transfer.

Special Features:

Slipcase Packaging
High-def film transfer
2 NEW Behind-the-Scenes documentaries featuring re-discovered footage and interviews with the creators
Making-of Documentary
