Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking revolves around the attempt by law enforcement officers (Mira Sorvino and Donald Sutherland) to end the reign of slave crime boss Sergei Karpovich (Robert Carlyle) who runs a a modeling agency in the former USSR by targeting girls seeking a better life through the world of modelling.

However instead of the life of a model, these naive girls seeking freedom from the former USSR are thrown into the international sex trade with strip clubs as brothels.

Sergei uses fear, violence and drugs to keep these girls against their wishes and when his interests turn to the Far East, he steals children from their homes to work in child brothels in Manila or sold to Sheiks in Arabia.

This drama features some seriously disturbing content that features some extraordinary acting from Sutherland and Sorvino who under the direction of Christian Duguay force the viewer to ponder the darker side of society. Gripping!
