Gracie is an enjoyable drama movie for
the younger viewer which revolves around the obstacles faced by a
young girl who wishes to play for her high school soccer team.
Grace
Bowen or Gracie (Carly Schroeder) is a fifteen year old girl who
lives in a soccer crazed family and unfortunately for her, she is often
overlooked. Her mother (Elizabeth Shue) is overprotective of her and
her father only focuses on her three brothers.
Unfortunately for the
Bowen family, a tragedy occurs and Gracie decides to channel her
grief into joining an all-male team. Set in 1978, based on real events,
this movie is your classic feel good movie that nicely mixes story
with emotions in a tale about almost unbeatable odds.
Definitely one
for the family!
