Doctor Who Series 4 Volume 4

Another exciting DVD release is available for Doctor Who fans in Australia that features Doctor Who Series 4 Volume 4 and moves the series into high gear. Featuring three episodes from the TV series, this current volume features the final writing of Russell T. Davies who has been a staple diet of Doctor Who fans and thankfully he once again delivers on action, adventure, drama and a touch of classic BBC comedy.

David Tennant once again reprises his role as the Doctor with Catherine Tate reprising her role as Donna. The first episode entitled "Turn Left" centers on Donna and takes the viewer on whirlwind journey of chance that was dictated by the decision she mad in her car and has the Doctor being almost absent through the entire episode.

Interestingly enough Tate really shines as Donna in this episode that has the very fate of the world in her fans and is a great "What if!" episode. Best of all, this episode reintroduces Rose to the mythology and needless to say, fans can expect some turbulent times for Doctor and co.

The next episode is "The Stolen Earth" which features a variety of Doctor Who and Torchwood stars which finally brings forth Davros (Julian Bleach) to the fold of villains again who truly gets quite immersed into this character.

Lastly, there is "Journey's End" which neatly concludes the compilation, although is a little lacklustre when compared to the initial two episodes and we really cannot spoil this tale.

In conclusion, Doctor Who Series 4 Volume 4 is definitely one of the better discs in the collection of Doctor Who and is another must have for those Doctor Who fans, especially with the reintroduction of Rose and the German Daleks... classic Doctor Who.
