Doctor Who Beneath the Surface is a classic Doctor Who at its best which features three fantastic stories from both the Pertwee and Davison runs as the good Doctor. With the Silurians and the Sea Devils vowing to reclaim Earth from mankind, it's up to the Doctor (Pertwee) to save the day but when the Master gets involved, things go from bad to worse.

The first tale called Doctor Who and the Silurians features the Doctor being summoned by the Brigadier on Earth to investigate some strange occurrences, only to discover a group of intelligent reptilians. Classic Pertwee Doctor Who moments with some brilliant restoration of video and sound quality. The relationship between the Doctor and the Master is great and is really one of the better Doctor Who stories around.

Lastly, we have the Davison version of Doctor who once again encounters the Silurians that attempt to rule Earth as they did those so many millions of years ago. Great acting, absurdly entertaining special effects, featuring other classic Doctor Who characters that include Tegan and Turlough, the Warriors of the Deep is pure Doctor Who and this box set comes highly recommended!
