Are you being Served Series Four

Roadshow Home Entertainment have released another "Are you Being Served" classic on DVD that collects the entire fourth series that revolves around the staff of the Grace Brothers Department Store of the menswear and ladies wear section. Featuring some of England's most comedic and talented actors which such as Mollie Sugden, Trevor Bannister and Nicholas Smith, it's easy to see why this BBC comedy series become such a hit in its time.

Whether it's the pompous Mrs. Slocombe (Mollie Sugden) whose always worried about her "pussy", that is her cat Tiddles or the uptight Captain Peacock who was apparently an army officer or so he wishes his staff to believe, the actors really take the script to the next level with its hilarity and amazing anecdotes.

Probably the most memorable character in the series is the flamboyant Mr. Humphries (John Inman) who created one of the first of the catch phrases on television with "I'm free" is really a comedic genius and throws enough twists and turns into his character development to really question the viewer whether his character is really gay or not.

Although the staff of Grace Brothers rarely do any selling, it is the dynamics between the characters that make the show and this collection brings all the old favourites together from the sexist and dotard Mr. Granger to the sexy Miss Brahms (Wendy Richard) who is always being chased by Mr. Lucas (Trevor Bannister), this collection is definitely a must have for fans of the original series or for those that want a different comedy that has actually kept its original comedic humour intake. Brilliant stuff!
