From stripper to Playmate to household name

Almost a year after the death of Anna Nicole, her story is now available on DVD entitled "Anna Nicole" which follows her difficult and controversial life from her teenage years to her untimely and tragic death at the age of 39.

Singer and actress Willa Ford was perfectly cast as the blonde bombshell which follows her rocky road and truly portrays the human side of this lost soul as she encounters obstacle after obstacle. The story begins as Vickie Lynn Hogan attempts to get into the world modeling after she has her first son at the age of 18, then becomes a stripper at 20.

Eventually changing her name to "Anna Nicole", she becomes one of the world's most popular Playboy Playmates. Director Keoni Waxman does a brilliant job at linking the various highs and lows of this complex yet caring woman and goes into great detail how her marriage to an old billionaire had saved her life and her sons from a chaotic world.

The DVD carefully links news footage with the story and after the death of her husband, the messy court challenges to eventually her tragic death that will make Anna an icon of the Pop Culture, just like Marilyn Monroe.
