Yellowstone

This amazing documentary features one of the world’s first national parks and showcases its diverse wildlife and landscape that is almost unparalleled. Although in this three part series, collected on Blu-ray, the stars of Yellowstone is the natural beauty of this park, without Blu-ray, this would be just another wildlife documentary because the quality looks amazing on FULL HD.

From amazing close-ups of animals such as the Grizzly to panoramic views of the national park itself, at times, it’s easy to get lost in this amazing world of beauty. Add in the professional commentary and some down to earth yet not childish explanations and theories and this is as good as they get.

With every documentary, you generally learn something new and with Yellowstone, I discovered that it has one of the world’s largest dormant volcanoes beneath it which was quite surprising. Another highlight of this documentary is the amazing colours of Yellowstone that encompass almost all shades of the rainbow, especially as the seasons go from summer to winter.

Even though the information provided in Yellowstone is not content heavy, it is professionally broken up with some of the people who are involved in preserving this place for future generations to come. Although available on DVD, it's presentations like this that you should ponder in upgrading to Blu-ray because the video quality is almost like actually being there.
