The set will retail for $59.95RRP. Episodes are also available to download from iTunes now for $1.99RRP each.

Nip/Tuck explores the lives of doctors Sean McNamara and Christian Troy, two talented, hot-shot plastic surgeons whose initial query of patients, “Tell me what you don’t like about yourself,” sets the stage for a series filled with secrets and deception. As close friends and business partners who own an overwhelmingly successful plastic surgery practice, they attempt to bring inner peace and visceral contentment to their patients through external cosmetic surgery procedures. Although their clients aspire to cover up their pain, it is the surgeons who truly wear the masks of anguish, unhappiness and disillusionment. At midlife, the doctors question the prosperity that has brought them so much and yet has offered so little.

Over the course of six seasons, Dr. McNamara and Dr. Troy confront issues in their careers, families and romantic lives. First set in Miami’s South Beach and later moving to Los Angeles, the show’s cutting-edge stories range from funny to suspenseful to uncommonly powerful. Surgeries are graphically bold and sexuality is rampant.

In season six, and during a tough economy, the beautiful people elect not to have nip and tucks. So don’t expect McNamara/Troy to reject any cash-flow opportunities, no matter how dicey. Okay, maybe the docs will need to think about the state’s request to lipo a morbidly obese Death Row inmate so he can be executed. Elsewhere in the Nip/Tuck orbit: Matt sets out to earn coin at the beach as a mime (the turn his new career takes may leave you speechless). Kimber laments the decline of her line of sex toys. And that Christian-Liz marriage? Sooo over. Something else may be over, too. All the collagen in the world may not be enough to fill the personal and professional rifts between Christian and Sean. Tell us what you don’t like about each other, doctors!

Nip/Tuck stars Dylan Walsh, Julian McMahon, John Hensley, Roma Maffia, Kelly Carlson and Joely Richardson. From The Shephard/Robin Company in association with Warner Bros. Television, the series was created by Ryan Murphy (Glee, Popular). Executive producers for all six seasons include Murphy, Michael M. Robin, Greer Shephard, Lyn Greene & Richard Levine, Sean Jablonski, Jennifer Salt and Brad Falchuk. The series premiered in July 2003 on the FX cable network and, since its debut, the show has exploded to critical acclaim and earned multiple awards, including a Golden Globe® Award in 2005 for Best Television Series – Drama.

“From the moment Nip/Tuck premiered, it was clearly destined to become a revolutionary series. Viewers stayed captivated season after season with the show’s compelling storylines and powerful acting performances, not to mention its outrageousness and unpredictability,” said Caroline Skillen, WHV Marketing Director.

Episodes Featured

Episode 1: Don Hoberman
Episode 2: Enigma
Episode 3: Briggette Reinhart
Episode 4: Jenny Juggs
Episode 5: Abigail Sullivan
Episode 6: Alexis Stone
Episode 7: Alexis Stone II
Episode 8: Lola Wlodkowski
Episode 9: Benny Nilsson
Episode 10: Wesley Clovis
Episode 11: Dan Daly
Episode 12: Willow Banks
Episode 13: Joel Seabrook
Episode 14: Sheila Carlton
Episode 15: Virginia Hayes
Episode 16: Dr. Griffin
Episode 17: Christian Troy II
Episode 18: Walter & Edith Krieger
Episode 19: Hiro Yoshimura

Special Features:

Tell Me What You Don’t Like About Yourself – The Psychology Behind Plastic Surgery Featurette

Rating:

MA15+

Approx Runtime:

785 mins

Assets:

Pack shots, screen grabs and images available at www.whvdirect.com.au (graphic search)

Trailer available by request.

Contact:

Erin Falconer

erin.falconer@warnerbros.com

02/9495 3131

Lauren Grifoni

Lauren.grifoni@warnerbros.com

02/9495 3132

Credits:

About Warner Home Video

With operations in 90 international territories, Warner Home Video, a Warner Bros.
