The AVG product quality is well known and is obviously a contributing factor, but it is the quality and speed of AVG (AU/NZ)’s support service, the ease of being able to buy via the reseller centre and their ‘can do’ attitude which has given them the credibility to win the award for the third consecutive year – something no other vendor has achieved.”

In presenting the award at the annual Computer Troubleshooters Asia Pacific Conference held in Sydney over the weekend, Chip Reaves, Computer Troubleshooters’ Global CEO, said: “We have had a strong global relationship with AVG over the past six years and it’s great to see the local distributor exceeding expectations year after year.”

In accepting the award, Peter Cameron, Managing Director, AVG (AU/NZ), said: “We’re so proud to win this award for the third year in a row. It’s a great tribute to our staff who consistently go the extra mile to make sure our partners are fully supported and that it’s easy to do business with us. We’ve put a lot of effort into making our Reseller Centre user-friendly and we have put in place several new incentive schemes to reward our resellers. This has included paying $37,000 in Direct Renewal Guarantee commissions over the last six months to resellers whose customers renewed, increased or upgraded their licences direct with AVG (AU/NZ).”

Michael Dowling, AVG (AU/NZ)’s Sales Director said: “The Computer Troubleshooters award is great encouragement for us to continue raising the bar on service and support to our resellers and to find new ways for resellers to maximise the sales of our products.”

In turn, AVG (AU/NZ) presented its second annual ‘Australian Computer Troubleshooters Reseller Award’ to Computer Troubleshooters Toowoomba. The selection was based on a combination of 2010 sales, growth and marketing of AVG products by an Australian Computer Troubleshooters outlet. It was also in recognition for consistent performance and inroads into the SMB market.

Nick Roche described Computer Troubleshooters’ Toowoomba as “a consistently high performing franchise which is succeeding in making great inroads in the SMB market. For them, as for all of us, a reliable supplier along with superb service, support and delivery is crucial.”

On accepting the award, Director of the Toowoomba franchise, Neil Sciffer, said: “AVG (AU/NZ) has a really generous reseller program.
