Producers Michael Lynch and Craig Griffin were on hand to accept the gong and Director Mark Hartley was also honoured with the inaugural AFI Documentary Trailblazer award at this, the industry\u2019s night of nights. The 2008 awards marked the 50th anniversary of the AFIs and the evening\u2019s theme was a celebration of 50 years of pride and passion in Australian film and television making, so it\u2019s fitting that NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD – a film that lovingly and energetically documented a great unsung story in Australian film history \u2013 was recognised by the voting audience.<\/p>\n
