The Smashing Pumpkins<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong>, one of rock’s defining and most acclaimed\u00a0bands who have sold over 30 million albums<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong> return to Guitar Hero World Tour<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong>, tomorrow December 5th<\/sup>, with a three-song track pack featuring the recently released single <\/span><\/span>\u201cG.L.O.W.,\u201d \u201c1979\u201d and \u201cEverlasting Gaze.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Featuring the stylistic melodies of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, the pioneers of alternative rock, Nirvana, make their Guitar Hero\u00ae<\/span><\/em> downloadable content debut with the Nirvana Track Pack.\u00a0\u00a0 Featuring the final single released by the band, \u201cYou Know You\u2019re Right,\u201d along with \u201cNegative Creep,\u201d off the band\u2019s debut album Bleach,<\/span><\/em> and the smash hit \u201cSliver,\u201d the Nirvana Track Pack will be available for Guitar Hero World Tour <\/span><\/em><\/strong>on December 11th<\/sup>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After delivering the timeless rock ballad \u201cHotel California\u201d to the on-disc set list of Guitar Hero World Tour<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, The Eagles will thrill the Guitar Hero <\/span><\/em>audience once again on December 18th<\/sup> with three chart topping hits.\u00a0 From the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees\u2019 seventh studio album and first in 28 years, Long Road Out of Eden,<\/span><\/em> \u201cFrail Grasp on the Big Picture\u201d <\/span><\/em>is joined by two classic tracks that climbed to the top of the Billboard\u2019s Hot 100, \u201cOne of These Nights\u201d and \u201cLife in the Fast Lane.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rounding out the downloadable set list for Guitar Hero World Tour<\/span><\/em><\/strong> in <\/span><\/em>December are three free Reggae grooves.\u00a0 The Reggae Rock Track Pack is comprised of \u201cJimi\u201d from Slightly Stoopid, \u201cYour Face\u201d from Pepper and Expendables\u2019 \u201cSacrifice.\u201d\u00a0 The free tracks will be available for download on December 23rd<\/sup>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Eagles, Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins Track Packs will be available on Xbox LIVE\u00ae Marketplace for the Xbox 360\u00ae video game and entertainment system from Microsoft for 440 Microsoft Points and on the PlayStation\u00aeStore for the PLAYSTATION\u00ae3 computer entertainment system for $9.95.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The songs in each Track Pack will be released as downloadable singles for Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, PLAYSTATION 3 system for $3.45 and <\/span><\/span>Nintendo\u00ae Wi-Fi Connection for Wii\u2122 for 200 Wii Points.\u00a0 The Free Reggae Rock Track Pack will be available for Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 and as singles for Wii.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
