Jimmy Patterson, who fought arm-in-arm with his brothers on the German frontline during WWII. Nearly ten years later, the franchise continues the tradition of telling the soldier\u2019s story; this year, with Medal of Honor set in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
Today, Electronic Arts Inc. announced a special edition* of Medal of Honor exclusive for the PlayStation\u00ae3 computer entertainment system that will include the classic, Medal of Honor\u2122 Frontline. Available on PlayStation 3 for the very first time, Frontline has been completely remastered in HD with improved graphics and all of the heart-wrenching battles of the original game.<\/p>\n

For the first time in its 11-year history, Medal of Honor leaves the WWII theatre and enters the modern day setting of war-torn Afghanistan told through the lens of a small band of fictional characters. Medal of Honor introduces players to the Tier 1 Operator, an elite warrior and relatively unknown instrument of the U.S. Military that operates under the National Command Authority, taking on missions no one else can handle.<\/p>\n
Medal of Honor is inviting players worldwide to participate in a massive multiplayer beta test starting on 21 June. Battlefield: Bad Company\u2122 2 VIPs who have pre-ordered Medal of Honor will be able to enter the multiplayer beta even earlier, starting 17 June.
