BARCELONA, SPAIN \u2013 12 May 2010 \u2013 NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. chose today\u2019s LEVEL UP<\/em> event in Barcelona to confirm the forthcoming European and PAL region release of anticipated survival action title God Eater<\/em><\/strong>, coming to Australian shores in 2011 exclusively for\u00a0 PSP\u00ae (PlayStation\u00aePortable).<\/p>\n

God Eater<\/em><\/strong> re-imagines the post-apocalyptic world with an original and dramatic story of human survival against overwhelming odds. The earth has been trashed by unpleasant mutant beasts known as the Aragami and man\u2019s only hope against them is the God Arc weapons and the God Eaters who wield them.\u00a0 Players will create their own hero and do battle with over 37 different enemies, picking up items along the way to customize their weapons, guns, bullets and shields, boosting their strength and stamina in the massive scale fights.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The furious pace of the gameplay will send players hurtling through over 125 missions, demanding quick thinking for tactical shifts between weapons to slash, shoot and devour some seriously imposing enemies. Bullets can be customised to alter their strength, patterns and elemental type for wildly effective super attacks.<\/p>\n

The original Prey Attack adds a new strategic level as players transform their God Arc to Burst Mode, boosting their stats and special bullets to launch potent attacks. Players can hunt with AI controlled party members or join hunting parties with up to four players via ad hoc connection, or connect the PSP <\/sup>to a PlayStation\u00ae3 and play online using adhocParty in cooperative mode.<\/p>\n
