{"id":4954,"date":"2010-02-23T19:53:02","date_gmt":"2010-02-23T09:53:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/power-up.space\/?p=4954"},"modified":"2010-02-23T19:53:02","modified_gmt":"2010-02-23T09:53:02","slug":"surrogates-factoids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.impulsegamer.com\/wordpress\/?p=4954","title":{"rendered":"Surrogates &#8211; FACTOIDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>First-time author <strong>Robert Venditti<\/strong> came up with the unique premise while working at Top Shelf Publications in their shipping warehouse in suburban Atlanta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<strong>SURROGATES\u201d<\/strong> was filmed on location in Massachusetts, primarily in Boston and surrounding suburbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In addition to mounting the film in several neighborhoods around Boston\u2014the Leather District, the Financial District, the South End, Chestnut Hill, and the home of his alma mater, Cambridge, among them\u2014director <strong>Jonathan Mostow<\/strong> also filmed in such Boston suburbs as Worcester, Taunton and Hopedale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Studies led the film\u2019s scripters to a Japanese scientist named <strong>Hiroshi Ishiguro<\/strong>, who has been using a plastic version of himself to lecture around the world without leaving his Osaka office.
