Encompassing students from a range of faith-based and secular Government schools, <em>Talking Faiths<\/em> features multimedia representations and photographs of the student project and artworks developed by the students as part of their conversations. This exhibition is a part of the Parliament of the World\u2019s Religions 2009 cultural program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> 26 November 2009 to 28 May 2010<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Callaloo:\u00a0The Caribbean mix in Victoria<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Like the traditional Caribbean Callaloo soup, a unique mix of spices, vegetables, meat and herbs, the Caribbean community is a wonderfully diverse mix of cultures. <em>Callaloo: The Caribbean\u00a0mix in Victoria<strong> <\/strong><\/em>explores the experiences\u00a0of this\u00a0small but vibrant\u00a0community\u00a0in Victoria. Visitors can discover the\u00a0significance that food, cricket, music and carnival\u00a0has\u00a0to the community as well as the\u00a0historical connection between Australia and the West Indies<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date: <\/strong>From 3 December 2009<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ancient Hampi: The Hindu Kingdom Brought to Life<br \/>\n<\/strong>This international exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the stunning World Heritage site of Hampi in southern India. Using state of the art digital technologies, this new experience presents stereographic panoramas of an extraordinary site, with all its mythological, archaeological, artistic and historic significance. <em>Ancient Hampi<\/em> includes animations of Hindu myths and stories, aerial and projected photography, an immersive digital interactive space showing 360-degree panoramic images of the site and is landscape, as well as stunning night photographs of the temples taken by John Gollings.<br \/>\n<strong>Dates:<\/strong> Until 26 January 2010<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kids Fest: Cool Caribbean <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experience the Caribbean this summer on this special day just for kids! Part of the Immigration Museum\u2019s school holiday program, Kids Fest celebrates the vibrant culture of the Caribbean with performances, dance workshops and traditional cuisine. Hands-on activities such as making a drum kit or cricket bat allow visitors to learn about the culture in a fun way.
