Dr Brooke Magnati, who works for The Bristol Initiative for Research of Child Health revealed her true identity to <em>The Sunday Times<\/em> this week as the women behind the pseudonym \u2018Belle de Jour.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\" height=\"28\" bgcolor=\"white\">\n<table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Magnanti kept a weblog of her antics as a call girl in London in 2003-2004, which were turned into her best-selling book.\u00a0 Her memoirs were then adapted into a hit 16-episode television series <strong><em>Secret Diary of a Call Girl<\/em><\/strong> which has proven a success for Hopscotch Entertainment as one of their best selling DVD titles.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Secret Diary of a Call Girl<\/em><\/strong>, starring Billie Piper as Belle De Jour<strong><em> <\/em><\/strong>is currently screening 9.30pm Tuesday nights on Nine.
