Interactive Entertainment and MTV Games today announced that <strong><em>LEGO\u00ae Rock Band\u2122<\/em><\/strong> will feature the likeness of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and multi-platinum selling group Queen. Appearing in the game as LEGO minifigures, front man <a title=\"Freddie Mercury\" href=\"mhtml:{534E9537-84FB-4BE9-9ACE-046B3188061A}mid:\/\/00000516\/!x-usc:http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Freddie_Mercury\">Freddie Mercury<\/a>, guitarist <a title=\"Brian May\" href=\"mhtml:{534E9537-84FB-4BE9-9ACE-046B3188061A}mid:\/\/00000516\/!x-usc:http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Brian_May\">Brian May<\/a>, bassist <a title=\"John Deacon\" href=\"mhtml:{534E9537-84FB-4BE9-9ACE-046B3188061A}mid:\/\/00000516\/!x-usc:http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/John_Deacon\">John Deacon<\/a> and drummer <a title=\"Roger Meddows-Taylor\" href=\"mhtml:{534E9537-84FB-4BE9-9ACE-046B3188061A}mid:\/\/00000516\/!x-usc:http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roger_Meddows-Taylor\">Roger Taylor<\/a> will be seen jamming to their hit anthems \u201cWe Will Rock You\u201d and \u201cWe Are The Champions.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Guitarist Brian May said: \u201c<em>This is IT! \u00a0I wanna play! \u00a0When do I get my toy LEGO man?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today also marks the release of the Queen pack for the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content, featuring 10 of the band\u2019s most loved songs including \u201cKiller Queen,\u201d \u201cSomebody to Love,\u201d \u201cFat Bottomed Girls\u201d and the Queen\/David Bowie collaboration, \u201cUnder Pressure.\u201d In addition, Queen will release<em> Absolute Greatest<\/em> on Nov. 17, featuring 20 of the band\u2019s biggest hits.<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>LEGO Rock Band<\/em><\/strong> puts the power of rock into the hands of tweens, teens, families and gamers of all ages as they go on a wild journey to stardom as they \u201cBuild a Band and Rock the Universe.\u201d\u00a0 The game is developed by TT Games in partnership with Harmonix for the Xbox 360\u00ae video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION\u00ae3 computer entertainment system and Wii\u2122 home videogame console. <strong><em>LEGO Rock Band<\/em><\/strong> for Nintendo DS\u2122 is co-developed by TT Games and Harmonix in partnership with Backbone Entertainment, a Foundation 9 Entertainment studio.\u00a0 All versions are scheduled for release holiday 2009.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LEGENDARY BAND QUEEN TO APPEAR IN LEGO\u00ae ROCK BAND\u2122\u00a0 View Trailer Here Warner Bros.
