Sydney, Australia, 5th<\/sup> August 2013:<\/b> Just 18 months since launching, the Skylanders franchise exceeds the $100 million mark for sales in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Voted K-Zone magazine\u2019s Toy of the Year for two consecutive years[1]<\/a>, Skylanders is yet again on its way to cementing its place as the hottest toy in town for 2013, with the next instalment in the franchise, Skylanders SWAP Force, set to launch later this year.<\/p>\n

Skylanders toys outsold the #1 action figure line in Australia and New Zealand, sweeping aside giants of the toy industry Spiderman, Transformers and Star Wars. Additionally, Skylanders Giants eclipsed domestic box office sales for the top holiday kids feature films including \u201cIce Age 4\u201d and \u201cMadagascar 3.\u201d<\/p>\n
