Interactive Entertainment and TT Games today announced that The <\/i>LEGO Movie Videogame <\/i><\/b>will be available in 2014 alongside the much-anticipated \u201cThe LEGO Movie,\u201d from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, and a toy collection of \u201cThe LEGO Movie\u201d building sets.<\/p>\n
The <\/i>LEGO\u00ae Movie Videogame <\/i><\/b>will <\/i>be released for Xbox One\u00ae, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Xbox 360\u00ae games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 4\u00ae and PlayStation\u00ae3 computer entertainment systems, the Wii U\u2122 system and Windows\u00ae PC, as well as Nintendo 3DS\u2122 handheld system and PlayStation\u00ae Vita handheld entertainment system.<\/p>\n
In a scenario drawn from the film, The<\/i><\/b> <\/i>LEGO Movie Videogame <\/i><\/b>puts LEGO kids into the role of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Players guide him as he is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.<\/p>\n
