27th<\/sup> June\u00a0 2013<\/b> \u2013 This year, Pok\u00e9mon fans from around Australia and New Zealand will have the chance to compete in the Pok\u00e9mon Video Game Australian National Championships, to be held at the sold-out PAX Australia in Melbourne on the 20th<\/sup> and 21st<\/sup> July, 2013.<\/p>\n Players will battle it out on the Pok\u00e9mon Black Version 2 and Pok\u00e9mon White Version 2 games utilising the following rules<\/a> for a chance to win a trip to Vancouver, Canada to compete in the 2013 Pok\u00e9mon Video Game World Championships to be held on 9th<\/sup> -11th<\/sup> August, 2013. The following age divisions will apply:<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Junior Division: Born in 2002 or later<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Senior Division: Born in 1998, 1999, 2000, or 2001<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Masters Division: Born in 1997 or earlier<\/p>\n Players who place in the top two of their age division will win flights, accommodation and invitation to the Pok\u00e9mon Video Game World Championships, hosted by The Pok\u00e9mon Company International.<\/p>\n Hopeful competitors without a ticket to the sold-out PAX Australia will have the opportunity to battle for the chance to win flights, accommodation and entry tickets to the expo plus additional standalone tickets to PAX at a number of Pok\u00e9mon Meet-ups to be held around Australia in the coming weeks.
