It\u2019s just under a month away, but the names keep coming as Oz Comic-Con Melbourne continues to secure highprofile\u00a0 guests and fan-favourite actors. And there aren\u2019t many that come with a bigger profile than Ron Perlman,\u00a0 who is the latest celebrity confirmed to appear at the convention. A versatile actor with over 190 titles to his credit\u00a0 across film, television, animation and video games, he\u2019s the imposing but big-hearted (and bright red) titular\u00a0 character in the Hellboy films and he currently stars as Clarence \u2018Clay\u2019 Morrow, the main antagonist in the\u00a0 critically acclaimed television series Sons of Anarchy.<\/p>\n

Perlman is also known for his roles in the films Drive, Tangled, Alien: Resurrection, Blade II and Conan the\u00a0 Barbarian and his Golden Globe winning role in the television series Beauty and the Beast. What\u2019s more, he is\u00a0 set to appear in the monsters vs. robots blockbuster Pacific Rim, due to hit Australian cinema screens this July.\u00a0 He is just one of the amazing celebrities making an appearance at Oz Comic-Con Melbourne. Last week the\u00a0 legendary William Shatner (Star Trek, Boston Legal) was announced as a guest, joining a growing list of\u00a0 international and local stars from film, television, games, comics and animation including Shannen Doherty\u00a0 (Beverly Hills 90210, Charmed), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Saw, Robin Hood: Men in Tights) and The
\nRocky Horror Picture Show\u2019s Patricia Quinn and Nell Campbell.<\/p>\n
