LenovoEMC products now available through local Australian distributors\u00a0<\/i>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Sydney, Australia \u2013 12 June, 2013:<\/b> Lenovo today announced the availability of the LenovoEMC portfolio of Network Attached Storage products through Lenovo channel partners and direct from Lenovo in Australia. This announcement marks the full integration of LenovoEMC products into Lenovo\u2019s leading channel partner program with the entire Iomega product range to be rebranded to LenovoEMC.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe partnership brings together legendary Lenovo reliability and ease-of-use, as well as a reputation of EMC for scale and reliability. Users will now have a one stop shop for servers and network attached storage that are quality driven, simple to set up and easily integrated into a varied environment,\u201d said Matt Codrington, Managing Director of Lenovo ANZ.<\/p>\n
The EZ Media and ix Series Desktop line will now carry the Lenovo Iomega brand, while the px Series Desktop and px Series rack mount families, with additional enterprise-level capabilities, are now branded as LenovoEMC products.<\/p>\n
LenovoEMC products provide a range of enterprise-level capabilities including\u00a0 volume encryption, antivirus software, a range of surveillance features, the award winning EMC Lifeline Operating System, and integrated virtualisation technology.<\/p>\n
The LenovoEMC joint venture was finalised on January 3, 2013.
