Following critical acclaim, unanimously rave reviews, and sold out performances receiving multiple standing ovations, Spiegelworld\u2019s EMPIRE <\/b><\/em>has released the final tickets to its last performances in Melbourne. EMPIRE <\/b><\/em>must close on Sunday May 12.<\/p>\n

Due to the overwhelming demand to the hottest show in Melbourne, EMPIRE<\/b><\/em> has also just announced extra performances on Thursday May 2 and Thursday May 9, with new session times of 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Tickets are available through Ticketek: www.ticketek.com.au<\/a><\/p>\n

This final Melbourne extension brings to a close a spectacular eight-week season held in the 700-seat antique Spiegeltent, featuring the most intimate stage in town, and set on the stunning Rooftop at Crown Melbourne.<\/p>\n

Following the Melbourne season, EMPIRE<\/b><\/em> will perform for Brisbane audiences in King George Square, from May 24.<\/p>\n

EMPIRE<\/b><\/em> smashes the boundaries of circus, cabaret, variety and burlesque, reinventing the genres for a 21st<\/sup> century audience.<\/p>\n

Spiegelworld first presented its annual summer season in New York City on Pier 17, South Street Seaport with acclaimed shows including Absinthe<\/em>, La Vie<\/em>, Gazillionaire\u2019s Late Night Lounge <\/em>and Desir<\/em>. For the world premiere season of EMPIRE <\/b><\/em>this year, Spiegelworld relocated to a premium vacant lot right in the heart of Broadway, the first time a tent show had ever been presented at Times Square. Spiegelworld is currently presenting Absinthe <\/em>in the forecourt of Caesar\u2019s Palace in Las Vegas, now in its 19th sold-out month, and recently extended through to 2015.<\/p>\n
