MELBOURNE \u2014 (April 10, 2013)\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 Disney Interactive today announced that \u201cDisney\u2019s Planes,\u201d a flying adventure video game inspired by the upcoming Disney animated comedy adventure, will be launching on September 5th<\/sup>, two weeks prior to the film\u2019s September 19th<\/sup>\u00a0opening in local theatres (September 26th<\/sup>\u00a0in WA, SA, ACT, TAS, NT) . The game will expand beyond the storyline of \u201cDisney\u2019s Planes,\u201d offering players the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of flight as one of the popular characters from the film.<\/p>\n From above the world of \u201cCars\u201d, \u201cDisney\u2019s Planes\u201d video game takes players on a high-flying, action-packed, fun-filled adventure with Dusty, a big-hearted, speed-loving crop duster who is voiced by actor and comedian Dane Cook. Players will take to the skies with Dusty and other characters, including Ishani, voiced by actress Priyanka Chopra; Echo, voiced by actor Anthony Edwards; and Bravo,\u00a0<\/i>voiced by actor Val Kilmer, as they embark on global missions, air races and grand adventures around the world.<\/p>\n In \u201cDisney\u2019s Planes\u201d video game, players\u00a0travel through breathtaking environments and play as one of 10 cast of characters on console and one of 6 cast of characters on handheld in either single-player on all platforms, or race against one another in two-player drop-in and drop-out gameplay on console.\u00a0Players will roll, turn and loop their way through mission-based objectives in exciting modes of play including a narrative based\u00a0Story\u00a0<\/i>mode and a\u00a0score-based mini-game that challenges the player\u2019s precision flying skills called\u00a0Balloon Pop<\/i>.
