{"id":27422,"date":"2013-02-25T16:40:39","date_gmt":"2013-02-25T06:40:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/power-up.space\/?p=27422"},"modified":"2013-02-25T16:40:39","modified_gmt":"2013-02-25T06:40:39","slug":"final-fantasy-xiv-a-realm-reborn-to-enter-closed-beta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.impulsegamer.com\/wordpress\/?p=27422","title":{"rendered":"FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN TO ENTER CLOSED BETA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><strong>New Trailers &amp; Benchmark Software Available Today<\/strong><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>SYDNEY (Feb. 25, 2013) <\/strong>\u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.square-enix.com\/eu\/en\/\">Square Enix Ltd.<\/a>, the publisher of SQUARE ENIX\u00ae interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announced that <a href=\"http:\/\/eu.finalfantasyxiv.com\/\">FINAL FANTASY\u00ae XIV: A Realm Reborn\u2122<\/a> will enter the Closed Beta phase for the Windows PC on Tuesday, February 26 <i>(ANZ)<\/i>, welcoming the most loyal fans into the fully-redesigned, massively multiplayer online (MMO) adventure.<\/p>\n<p>To assist players with quickly and easily assessing their gaming PC\u2019s hardware and performance, SQUARE ENIX has made the new FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn benchmark software available today as a free download at the <a href=\"http:\/\/eu.finalfantasyxiv.com\/benchmark\/en\/\">benchmark site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new \u201cExploration\u201d trailer composed entirely of real-time footage captured from the official benchmark can be viewed on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uP3QJQ0bd-U\">YouTube<\/a>. Additionally, the new, custom-designed gamepad UI is introduced by Producer and Director, Naoki Yoshida, in the Developer\u2019s Commentary Video, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8hqbg9_ZJLw\">\u201cGamepads.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closed Beta players will be able to try out the new Full Active Time Events, or \u201cFATE,\u201d as part of the new gameplay system.
