The release of PlayStation\u00ae All-Stars Battle Royale kicks off a full month of brawler fun including a nationwide search for Australia\u2019s Ultimate All-Star fan and favourite PlayStation\u00ae All-Stars character.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

SYDNEY, 22 November 2012<\/strong> \u2013 Go head to head with your all-time favourite PlayStation characters and join in with the most fun-packed fighting game ever to hit PlayStation\u00ae3 (PS3\u2122) and PlayStation\u00aeVita (PS Vita) as PlayStation\u00ae All-Stars Battle Royale drops in-store today, Thursday 22nd<\/sup> November 2012.<\/p>\n

Join a cast of characters including Kratos, PaRappa the Rapper, Nathan Drake, Fat Princess and many more. Each character has their own unique special moves, as different PlayStation universes collide to form interactive environments. Compete at home with friends and family,\u00a0 via \u201cCross Play\u201d against PS Vita players or enter action-packed online tournaments.<\/p>\n

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale also supports \u201cCross-Buy\u201d, which enables owners of the PS3 title to purchase the game for and play on the PS Vita platform\u00a0 for free. With game experiences being playable across PS3 and PS Vita, Cross Buy delivers unmatched value for money.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the release of PlayStation\u00ae All-Stars Battle Royale, PlayStation\u00ae Australia is conducting a nationwide community search on the PlayStation Australia Facebook page to find the number one fan. The competition runs for 19 days concluding on 1st<\/sup> December, 2012 and also aims to settle the score to\u00a0 decide who Australia\u2019s Ultimate PlayStation\u00ae All-Star character is.<\/p>\n

Fans can easily engage with the new PlayStation Australia Facebook app by hitting \u2018like\u2019 and stepping straight into the virtual ring to battle with their favourite characters for the chance to win the ultimate bragging rights and be crowned winner.<\/p>\n

Players can pick their favourite character and face-off with up to 19 rivals in battle every day. Each battle earns you points by firing off different moves against your opponent. If your mouth is mightier than your moves, players gain extra bonuses by dropping in killer comments during any battle or by submitting a creative power move<\/p>\n

Each day, all players have the opportunity to win daily PS3\u2122 or PS Vita All-Star Prize Packs. Battling with multiple characters increases your chances of winning in addition to being crowned PlayStation Australia\u2019s Ultimate All-Star. An epic major prize of a PlayStation Experience Day is also up for grabs for the gamer that battles the hardest to win the most cumulative points. On December 1st<\/sup> 2012, the top point scorer will win the title prize of PlayStation Australia\u2019s Ultimate All-Star and the All-Star Character that comes out on top to reign supreme after all the battles will officially be crowned PlayStation Australia\u2019s Ultimate All-Star Character.<\/p>\n
