\u201cForza Horizon\u201d Xbox LIVE demo has been downloaded more than one million times<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios today announced the immediate availability of the year\u2019s biggest racing game, \u201cForza Horizon1<\/sup><\/em>.\u201d This critically acclaimed new game in the fan-favourite Forza franchise takes players onto the open roads as part of the Horizon Festival \u2013 a massive cars and music festival set in the heart of Colorado. \u201cForza Horizon\u201d will be available internationally beginning October 23.<\/p>\n

This week, the Xbox LIVE demo for \u201cForza Horizon\u201d crossed the one million download mark. The demo is available exclusively on Xbox LIVE for both Gold2<\/sup><\/em> and Silver members and those who download and play the demo and then play the full game will receive an in-game 2013 SRT Viper GTS<\/strong>, complete with a custom livery.<\/p>\n

In addition, today Turn 10 released the latest instalment of the \u201cForza Horizon \u2013 Behind the Scenes\u201d video series. Featuring an in-depth look at the Horizon Festival, this episode offers fans a chance to peek behind the curtain to see how the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d soundtrack amplifies the action-packed driving in the game. Fans will hear from UK BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, who hand-picked all the artists and songs to create Horizon\u2019s critically acclaimed soundtrack. In addition to curating the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d soundtrack, da Bank also contributed his insight and expertise as founder of the UK\u2019s annual Bestival music festival into making \u201cForza Horizon\u2019s\u201d fictional Horizon Festival feel as authentic and exciting as possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cForza Horizon — Behind the Scenes Part 4\u201d also focuses on the game\u2019s extensive competitive features. From a single-player mode that challenges players to become the top driver of the Horizon Festival, to an extensive suite of online and community features that allows players to compete against their friends, as well as flex their creative muscles, \u201cForza Horizon\u201d is the ultimate expression of car passion.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlay and Win\u201d Incentives: <\/strong>Players who purchase and play \u201cForza Horizon\u201d during the first week of release will receive a free gift car \u2013 the 2010<\/strong> Saleen S5S Raptor<\/strong>; a unicorn car typically only available from the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d community team.<\/p>\n

Forza Horizon Rally Expansion: <\/strong>Look for the \u201cForza Horizon Rally Expansion Pack\u201d, which will be released December 18 on Xbox LIVE for 1,600 MS Points. \u201cForza Horizon\u201d Season Pass owners will receive the Rally Expansion Pack automatically for no additional cost.<\/p>\n

Forza Horizon Season Pass:<\/strong> The \u201cForza Horizon Season Pass\u201d gives fans automatic access to the best add-on content for \u201cForza Horizon\u201d, including six months of DLC content, the \u201cForza Horizon Rally Expansion Pack\u201d, and more, all at a discounted price.<\/p>\n

Where Cars Belong:<\/strong> \u201cForza Horizon\u201d will be available starting on Oct. 23 in a Limited Collector\u2019s Edition AUD $99.95 RRP and a Standard Edition AUD $79.95 RRP. The game is rated \u201cPG\u201d in Australia.<\/p>\n
