Sydney, Australia, 5th<\/sup> October 2012<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 2K Sports today announced that NBA<\/em><\/strong>\u00ae 2K13<\/em><\/strong>, the latest installment in the <\/em><\/strong>top-selling and top-rated NBA video game simulation franchise*, is now available for the Xbox 360\u00ae video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation\u00ae3 computer entertainment system, PSP\u00ae (PlayStation\u00aePortable) system, and Windows PC.<\/p>\n

\u201cNBA 2K13<\/em><\/strong> represents the greatest year-to-year leap we have made in the franchise\u2019s history,\u201d said Greg Thomas, president of product development for 2K Sports. \u201cOur partnership with JAY Z brought a new dynamic to the game, and really elevated it to new heights.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year, 2K Sports transcends sports video games by joining forces with multi-platinum recording artist JAY Z, who serves as the Executive Producer of NBA 2K13<\/em><\/strong>. <\/em><\/strong>The music icon personally curated the game\u2019s 24-song soundtrack, and lent his artistic vision to its interactive menus, pregame introductions, and more. NBA 2K13<\/em><\/strong> also introduces the Control Stick, which gives players more control by mapping all dribbling and shooting to the right analog stick, as well as the long-awaited matchup between the 1992 \u201cDream Team\u201d and 2012 U.S. Men\u2019s National Team.<\/p>\n

2K Sports recently announced NBA 2K Everywhere<\/em><\/strong>, giving fans the opportunity to experience NBA 2K<\/em><\/strong> virtually anywhere via an all-new mobile companion application, a social game on Facebook, and a full-featured mobile version of NBA 2K13<\/em><\/strong> for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices. NBA 2K Everywhere<\/em><\/strong> will extend the NBA 2K<\/em><\/strong> experience by offering players greater flexibility, more variety and new ways to play, at home or on the go, with these all-new social and mobile games.
