{"id":24737,"date":"2012-10-03T07:38:13","date_gmt":"2012-10-02T21:38:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/power-up.space\/?p=24737"},"modified":"2012-10-03T07:38:13","modified_gmt":"2012-10-02T21:38:13","slug":"forza-horizon-launch-trailer-reveals-xbox-live-demo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.impulsegamer.com\/wordpress\/?p=24737","title":{"rendered":"\u201cForza Horizon\u201d Launch Trailer Reveals Xbox LIVE Demo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios released the launch trailer for this year\u2019s biggest racing game, \u201cForza Horizon<em><sup>1<\/sup><\/em>.\u201d Featuring an immersive landscape that includes the epic vistas of Colorado alongside some of the best cars in the world, the launch trailer for \u201cForza Horizon\u201d is a stunning piece designed to give \u201cForza\u201d fans a peek at what the game will have in store for them when it launches starting on Oct. 23.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"620\" height=\"340\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xYzT3X05O80?feature=player_detailpage\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the launch trailer also confirms the upcoming release of the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d demo, which will be available to download on Xbox LIVE<em><sup>2<\/sup><\/em> starting October 9. The \u201cForza Horizon\u201d demo has been designed to whet fans\u2019 appetite for open world automotive action that will be the centerpiece of the game. In the demo, players will get a chance to experience the Colorado of \u201cForza Horizon\u201d, driving a number of different cars across a variety of different event types \u2013 from Horizon Festival events taking place in the dusty, dirt roads of the upper hills \u2013 to a climactic street race that find players winding up, around, and over the fictional Finley Dam.<\/p>\n<p>Several of the events in the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d demo will automatically become Rivals Mode events after completing them, allowing \u201cForza\u201d fans to compete against one another to set the fastest time. In addition, players will be able to drive and explore a section of the overall game map to get a feel for the kinds of open-road adventure that is featured in the full version of \u201cForza Horizon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All players who download the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d demo and then purchase and play the full game will receive a specially designed custom 2013 SRT Viper GTS, which was designed to highlight Forza Horizon\u2019s \u201cgone-gold\u201d status. This rare livery will only be available to those who download the demo and purchase and play the game. The \u201cForza Horizon\u201d Xbox LIVE demo requires an Xbox LIVE account and Gold member exclusive access (during the first week of the demo\u2019s availability).<\/p>\n<p>Look for the \u201cForza Horizon\u201d demo on Oct. 9, available as a free download on Xbox LIVE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forza Horizon: Where Cars Belong:<\/strong> \u201cForza Horizon\u201d will be available starting on Oct. 23 in a Limited Collector\u2019s Edition AUD $99.95 RRP and a Standard Edition AUD $79.95 RRP.
