11th September, 2012 \u2013 The release of the Pok\u00e9mon\u2122 Black Version 2 and Pok\u00e9mon\u2122 White Version 2 games is quickly approaching, and Nintendo is giving fans yet another reason to be excited for their 11th October launch. Consumers who purchase either of the new games will have the opportunity to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (broadband Internet access required) before 12th November to receive the Mythical Pok\u00e9mon Genesect for the first time ever through a free, limited time distribution. In Pok\u00e9mon Black Version 2 and Pok\u00e9mon White Version 2, players will return to the Unova region and embark on a new adventure set two years after the events of the Pok\u00e9mon Black Version and Pok\u00e9mon White Version games.<\/p>\n

Genesect, the newly discovered Mythical Pok\u00e9mon, has been restored from a 300 million year old fossil. Modified by Team Plasma, this Pok\u00e9mon has a signature move called Techno Blast. Genesect is the only known Pok\u00e9mon with this move. Genesect is a Bug- and Steel-type Pok\u00e9mon with the ability to adjust its power levels based on the foe it\u2019s battling. This powerful Pok\u00e9mon will be available from 11th October through 12th November.
\nThe Unova region of Pok\u00e9mon Black Version 2 and Pok\u00e9mon White Version 2 has undergone significant changes, and new additions can be found in both Black City and White Forest. Black Tower is now a part of the Black City found in Pok\u00e9mon Black Version 2, while White Treehollow is found in the White Forest of Pok\u00e9mon White Version 2.<\/p>\n

In Black Tower and White Treehollow, players can do battle with high-level Pok\u00e9mon to earn Exp. Points and items. The layouts of the Black Tower and White Treehollow are randomly generated, creating a unique experience that will challenge players to solve their maze-like construction and defeat the Trainers that stand in their way again and again. The Pok\u00e9mon\u2122 Dream Radar game will also be available for purchase in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS\u2122 on 11th October. This downloadable Nintendo 3DS title allows Nintendo 3DS owners to catch some of their favourite Pok\u00e9mon, including some very rare ones, and transfer them into Pok\u00e9mon Black Version 2 and Pok\u00e9mon White Version 2. If playing on Nintendo 3DS*, players can also transfer Pok\u00e9mon they have caught with the Pok\u00e9mon Dream Radar game into their Pok\u00e9mon Black Version 2 and Pok\u00e9mon White Version 2 games.<\/p>\n

Also launching later this Spring for purchase on the Nintendo eShop, the new Pok\u00e9dex\u2122 3D Pro application for Nintendo 3DS allows players to learn all about their favourite Pok\u00e9mon. This enhanced and upgraded version of the original Pok\u00e9dex 3D includes detailed information on over 640 Pok\u00e9mon!
