\nDeveloping a property, not a television show.
\nThe relationship between Pukeko Pictures and Weta Workshop.
\nHow do you green-light a project from a creative and business standpoint?
\nHow a children\u2019s show can work with social media.
\nMartin will also draw on his experience as an author to cover issues relevant to current and aspiring storytellers, answering questions such as:
\nWhat are publishers looking for?
\nDo you need an agent?
\nWhat rights should you hold onto?
\nThe event will be presented by Martin Baynton, co-creator of The WotWots with Sir Richard Taylor (Weta Workshop) and the show\u2019s series editor and Executive Producer. Martin has an international reputation as a writer and illustrator of over 30 children\u2019s books. His titles have been published by major publishing houses including Walker Books, Penguin, Scholastic and Greenwillow. His book series Jane and the Dragon has become a modern classic and has never been out of print since it was first published in 1986. He has also worked for the stage, radio, TV and film as a producer, director, screenwriter and script editor.<\/p>\n
