Francis Ford Coppola\u2019s Godfather trilogy collected nine Academy Awards and was nominated for a further twenty becoming recognized as a bona fide, cinematic masterpiece in the process. Now, to celebrate its 40th birthday, the trilogy has been restored, re-mastered and is available for inclusion in Father\u2019s Day Gift Guides.<\/p>\n
Each set boasts an array of original re-mastered special features and bonus 40th anniversary special features such as a look at The Godfather on the Red Carpet, four short films on The Godfather and a feature on When The Shooting Stopped. The boxsets also include the original lined script for the first film, never before seen behind the scenes photography with commentary, a Corleone family tree poster and the soundtrack to all three movies.<\/p>\n
