{"id":20810,"date":"2012-05-16T18:07:36","date_gmt":"2012-05-16T08:07:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/power-up.space\/?p=20810"},"modified":"2012-05-16T18:07:36","modified_gmt":"2012-05-16T08:07:36","slug":"stealthjam-the-worlds-first-global-stealth-game-jam-kicks-off-in-sydney-june-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.impulsegamer.com\/wordpress\/?p=20810","title":{"rendered":"Stealthjam: The World\u2019s First Global Stealth Game Jam kicks off in Sydney June 22!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sneaky Bastards: The Stealth Gaming Blog<\/strong> is proud to be partnering with <strong>Academy of Interactive Entertainment<\/strong> (AIE) and <strong>iFEST: The Independent Games Festival<\/strong> to launch <strong>Stealthjam: The World\u2019s First Global Stealth Game Jam<\/strong> in Sydney!<\/p>\n<p>Stealthjam is a 48-hour Game Jam in which participants will design, prototype and explore new avenues of stealth gameplay.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Stealth Game Jam will kick off in Sydney, where Sneaky Bastards and AIE staff will host Stealthjam from <strong>the 22nd to the 24th of June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All games developed in the Sydney Stealthjam will be entered into iFEST\u2019s game development competition for the chance to win some awesome prizes!<\/p>\n<p>Though Stealthjam begins in Sydney, it has already begun to spread further, with further locations around Australia as well as Ontario, Darmstadt and more, making Stealthjam a global event.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will be hearing from 2012\u2019s prominent independent stealth developers, including:<\/p>\n<p>Andy Schatz (<em>Monaco<\/em>, Pocketwatch Games)<br \/>\nNels Anderson (<em>Mark of the Ninja<\/em>, Klei Entertainment)<br \/>\nTom Francis (<em>Gunpoint<\/em>, Suspicious Developments)<br \/>\nDan Silvers (<em>Children of Liberty<\/em>, Lantana Games)<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;as well as some of the biggest names in stealth gaming that have yet to be revealed!<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants can <strong>pre-register<\/strong> for the Sydney Stealthjam by visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stealthjam.com\">www.stealthjam.com<\/a>, guaranteeing first notification of when tickets go on sale.
