– 1st June, 2009 – Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH in partnership with Atari Australia has announced its popular Metal Gear Solid series will appear on Xbox 360\u00ae, with the advent of Metal Gear Solid: Rising for the format \u2013 the first Metal Gear Solid game to launch on this next generation console.<\/p>\n
The game is being developed by series creators Kojima Productions, and although details are currently under wraps, they have revealed that Metal Gear Solid: Rising stars Raiden \u2013 one of the most popular characters within the MGS universe. Raiden made his debut as a playable character in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and appeared as a non-playable cyborg in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PLAYSTATION\u00ae3.<\/p>\n
