This follows further consultation with both football and PES fans alike, and the result is the most faithful recreation of modern day football to date, with players modelled to match the running motions, abilities and playing styles, and the flicks and turns of their real-life counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>Three key elements form the basis of PES 2013\u2019s innovations, with all new additions falling within the fields of PES FullControl, Player ID, and ProActive AI.<\/p>\n<p>PES FullControl (PES FC): Never before has a football game offered such a level of control over the way it is played:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total Freedom of Control: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pro Evolution Soccer introduced the concept of freedom of movement; the \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 new \u2018PES FC\u2019 in PES 2013 goes further with total freedom over ball \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 control.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic First Touch: PES \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2013 introduces subtle ways to receive the ball, from traps, gently \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 lifting it past an attacker to run on to or a variety of other moves. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 First touch is everything and players can trap the ball using the R2 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 button, killing the speed of a well-hit pass and bringing it instantly \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 under control, or using the momentum of the pass to turn a defender.<\/li>\n<li>Full Manual Shooting and \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Full Manual Passing: PES 2013 offers fully manual passing and for the \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 first time ever manual shooting, allowing users to determine the height \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and power of each. Long low passes can be sent skimming across the pitch, \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 while shooting the user has total control over where the shot is placed. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Skill and precision are needed to master these, but passes can be made \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 into open areas, allowing lone strikers to thrive, while offering an \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 unrivalled variety in ways to score.<\/li>\n<li>Dribbling: The speed with \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 which a player moves with the ball has been slowed in line with real \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 matches, but using R2 allows players to add various styles to their close \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 control. Players can vary the speed of their dribbling, and cushion the \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ball as they move freely within a 360-degree circle. The new system allows \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 players to knock a ball past a player and collect it, nutmeg them, or hold \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 up play by shielding the ball as team mates find space and make runs.<\/li>\n<li>Full Manual One-Two: Active \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 one-two passes can be made, with the second player being moved in any \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 direction), facilitating various tactical movements.<\/li>\n<li>Response Defending: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Countering the attacking options the new dribbling system offers, is a \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 beautifully-balanced defence system. Players can use R2 and X to slow an \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 attack, with a double-tap of the X button prompting a perfectly-timed \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 challenge. Full 360-degree control means that players can check runs and \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 steal the ball from a parallel position, while the individuality element \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 will see world renowned defenders using aerial dominance of physicality to \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 win the ball.<\/li>\n<li>Goalkeepers: Even the game\u2019s \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2018keepers benefit from more control, while their distribution is more \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 precise thanks to the addition of a power gauge when they throw the ball, \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 creating opportunities for new, quicker counter attacks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Player ID: Player ID focuses on the individual elements and movements that each player boasts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Player Individuality: The \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 very best players in PES 2013 will be instantly recognisable via \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 incredible likeness and signature attributes skills and tricks that bring \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 them to life. The way they run, turn, trap and move the ball, shape to \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 shoot and even celebrate will be noticeably different during play..<\/li>\n<li>Individuality to \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Goalkeepers: The individuality of movement has also been extended to \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 between the posts. Goal keeping has been totally invigorated via new \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 animations and play styles. New varieties of saves and reactions have been \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 added to ensure the game\u2019s \u2018keepers are in line with the efforts of real \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 shot stoppers. This level of realism also extends to the game\u2019s top-rated \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 goal keepers, with their moves to close attacks down, fling themselves to \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 tip a shot past the post, and in-goal acrobatics benefiting from all new \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 animations and AI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ProActive AI: ProActive AI unites the control and realism, with players that will respond and find space as befits those at the top of their game:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Balance of Play: The development \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 team has worked closely with the PES fan base to eradicate any illogical \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 elements to the way players move and run in PES 2013, with the \u2018ProActive \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 AI\u2019 system enhancing the speed and balance resulting in a more realistic \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 game experience.<\/li>\n<li>Tactical Precision: The \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 balance of play has also been enhanced in the play between defences and \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the front line, with greater organisation as the teams track back or pelt \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 forward, setting a harder to beat defensive line, teams adjusting faster \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to ball gain or loss, allowing for quicker counters.<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced Goalkeepers: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Improvements to the goal keepers was voted the key advancement football \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 fans wanted to see in PES 2013, and the team has worked hard with real \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 keepers to ensure the AI decision process has been vastly improved. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keepers now respond with better reactions, clear their lines more \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 effectively and push the ball safely out of play rather than into \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 dangerous areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PES 2013 will also boast better connectivity and atmosphere.
