DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong> playable demo, due May 2nd<\/sup>, will introduce RaceNet, the new online community hub for Codemasters Racing players.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday April 20th<\/sup> <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 Today Codemasters\u00ae <\/strong>announced that DiRT\u00ae Showdown\u2122<\/em><\/strong>, the new all-action racing game from the award-winning DiRT<\/em><\/strong> series, will race into Australian & New Zealand retail on May 24th<\/sup>. DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong> will be the first game to launch on the company\u2019s new publishing label Codemasters Racing<\/strong>* (See Notes attached).<\/p>\n

To mark the news, Codemasters has released the \u2018Ultimate Hoonigan\u2019 gameplay video featuring the spectacular tricks and stunts players can perform in DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s Hoonigan game modes. The video features Ken Block\u2019s Ford Fiesta H.F.H.V Gymkhana 5 which features exclusively in DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong>, going head-to-head with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X JUN, and is now playing at www.dirtgame.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Codemasters also announced that the playable demo of DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong> is due to launch worldwide from May 2nd<\/sup>. The demo will feature a solo and multiplayer event and will be available from Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Steam on PC.<\/p>\n

When the DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong> demo goes live, Codemasters will invite fans to join the free new online hub for Codemasters Racing games, RaceNet<\/strong>\u2020 (See Notes). RaceNet will launch in beta as an evolving interactive community platform for Codemasters Racing games and allow fans to track their Races, Rivals and Rewards.<\/p>\n

A special \u2018Hoonigan\u2019 edition of DiRT Showdown<\/em><\/strong> is now available to pre-order exclusively from all leading ANZ Retailers, for a limited time only (RRP AUD$79.95 \/ NZD$99.99). Sporting unique packaging, the DiRT Showdown: Hoonigan Edition<\/em><\/strong> will include an in-game cash boost, an online XP multiplier plus Monster Energy liveries for the Kohler D350, Duke Coupe and Ford Fiesta Gymkhana 3 and Hoonigan liveries for the Holbrook Growler, Logan Vulture and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X JUN(as seen in the \u2018Ultimate Hoonigan\u2019 video), redeemed via an online code.<\/p>\n
