Discover the Night Sky <\/strong>(Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks presents special after-dark astronomy classes every Thursday evening in March. Each night includes a complimentary cheese and glass of wine, the opportunity to chat to the Planetarium\u2019s Astronomer and an immersive Planetarium experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date:<\/strong> Thursday 15, 22 and 29 March<\/p>\n

Cost:<\/strong> Adult $28, MV Members $23, Season Pass (all sessions) $120.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Machines in Action Family Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take a ride on a model steam train and see historic vehicles in action. Enjoy children\u2019s activities, working engine displays and heritage vehicle parades<\/p>\n

Our Water<\/em> features 28 hands-on exhibits that explore the way water is used from an urban, agricultural, industrial and environmental perspective. Learn more about our most precious resource \u2013 water \u2013 and what we can do to help save it.<\/p>\n

Test your strength against the strength of a T.rex<\/em> jaw, or see the world through the eyes of a dinosaur, all in an exhibition inhabited by Scienceworks\u2019 own animatronic dinosaurs!<\/p>\n

How much water is on the earth? How much of it can we drink? Learn the answers to these questions and watch as we go overboard in this 20-minute live show. For children all ages.<\/p>\n

Experiment Zone \u2013 Float the Boat<\/strong><\/p>\n

Discover why things float, see how sturdy a boat you can create and make your own ship in a bottle to take away in this 30 minute workshop. Limited spaces available \u2013 book at the desk on arrival. For children aged 7-12 years.<\/p>\n
