The Creative Assembly brings tactics to the touch-screen with Total War Battles: Shogun\u2122 for iOS and Android<\/p>\n
Wednesday 14th March 2012 \u2013 SEGA\u00ae of America, Inc. and SEGA\u00ae Europe, Ltd. today announced Total War Battles: Shogun\u2122 for mobile platforms. The latest addition to the award-winning Total War strategy series from The Creative Assembly, Total War Battles: Shogun\u2122 is a re-imagining of Total War, not a PC port, and is designed specifically for mobile platforms with a multi-touch interface.<\/p>\n

Total War Battles: Shogun\u2122 follows the story of a bereaved young samurai whose hot-headed thirst for revenge quickly embroils him in a war for control of the Shogunate. Players will direct his campaign across Japan in a series of real-time battles, unlocking buildings and units and upgrading favoured troops as they progress.<\/p>\n
An enormous depth of tactical gameplay awaits, with a 10-hour plus campaign, bonus challenge missions and a shared-screen head-to-head multiplayer mode. Beautifully illustrated medieval Japanese visuals accompany remarkable audio in a single scalable app, ensuring the best possible experience regardless of device.<\/p>\n
Total War Battles: Shogun\u2122 for iPhone and iPad hits the iTunes App Store and the Android marketplace on April 19th, 2012.<\/p>\n
