Now GameRanger asks users which\u00a0<br \/>\nmultiplayer games should be supported next.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of Stardock&#8217;s multiplayer-centric game Demigod suffered\u00a0<br \/>\nmajor scaling and connectivity issues. GameRanger quickly responded\u00a0<br \/>\nwith networking support for Demigod, giving Stardock some breathing\u00a0<br \/>\nroom to work on the issues. Stardock president, Brad Wardell, said: &#8220;I\u00a0<br \/>\nhave fallen in love with a new program called GameRanger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>GameRanger already provides online support for over 500 games, but\u00a0<br \/>\nthere are many more that still suffer from the network problems that\u00a0<br \/>\nGameRanger solves. Survey questions aiming to address this will be\u00a0<br \/>\npresented to users when they next log in to the service.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If people are having connection issues, or merely just wanting an\u00a0<br \/>\neasier way to meet up and play friends, here&#8217;s their chance to speak\u00a0<br \/>\nup about which games matter the most to them,&#8221; said Scott Kevill,\u00a0<br \/>\npresident of GameRanger Technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Network connectivity has long been an issue with multiplayer games,\u00a0<br \/>\nespecially strategy games, and has worsened over the years with more\u00a0<br \/>\nwidespread use of routers and firewalls in the home.
